China urges citizens in “Israel” to leave as soon as possible

WORLD, Sept. 23 (YPA) -China urged Monday its citizens in “Israel” to evacuate or move to safe areas as the conflict between “Israel” and Lebanon’s Hezbollah is escalating.

“Currently, the situation along the Israel-Lebanon border is extremely tense, with frequent military conflicts,” China’s embassy in Israel said in a statement on Sunday.

“The security situation in Israel remains severe, complex, and unpredictable,” the statement added.

The embassy urged Chinese citizens in Israel to “return home or relocate to safer areas as soon as possible”.

It is worth mentioning that China issued a similar call to its citizens last month to leave Lebanon following Israeli airstrikes targeting sites there.

The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah intensified following “Pager attack” in Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of 37 people and injuries to over 3,250 others.

Intense Israeli bombardment of various areas in Lebanon has continued since early Monday, leading to the deaths of more than 189 people and injuries to over 700.
