Hezbollah bombs Israeli intelligence headquarters on Lebanon border

BEIRUT, Sept. 20 (YPA) – Lebanese Hezbollah announced on Friday that it had bombed the main intelligence headquarters in the northern region on Lebanon borders.

Hezbollah affirmed in a statement that the Israeli occupation’s headquarters are responsible for assassinations, in the Mishar base, and sensitive “Israeli” military sites, with Katyusha rockets.

“In response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on southern Lebanese villages and safe houses, our fighters bombed the main intelligence headquarters in the northern region, which is responsible for assassinations, in the Mishar base, with volleys of Katyusha rockets,” the statement said.

It added: “Our fighters bombed the Northern Corps command headquarters in the Ein Zeitim Base with volleys of Katyusha rockets.”

Hezbollah’s statement noted that it bombed also the headquarters of the air surveillance unit and the air operations department in the Mount Meron base.

Media outlets reported explosions were heard in the Upper Galilee and near Safed following an attack from Lebanon and the launching of Israeli interceptor missiles.
