Report: Yemen Army carries out ground attacks against Saudi forces over 24 hours
SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – The Yemen army has launched military operations, including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks to frustrate US-backed Saudi-led coalition militiamen and soldiers’ infiltration on several battle fronts over the past 24 hours , according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
• In Yemen’s western coast:
Two military vehicles of Saudi-backed militiamen were destroyed in the north of Tuhaita.
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of militiamen in Tuhaita.
A militiaman was sniped in Tuhaita.
A military vehicle was burned in Faza.
• In Yemen’s Jawf province:
Air force of the army launches drone’s strikes on Labanat camp, inflicting the militiamen heavy losses in lives and equipment.
Two explosive devices were bombed in two gatherings of militiamen in Lauqm and beyond Sabrain mount of Khub-washaaf district.
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of militiamen, causing direct casualties.
• In Asir border province:
Katyusha rockets and artillery shells were fired toward gatherings of militiamen in Sood hills and western Majaza.
The army smashed a Saudi military bulldozer by artillery shells in the west of Majaza.
Dozens of militiamen were killed and injured by explosive devices in western Majaza.
• In the border province of Jizan:
Gatherings of militiamen were targeted in front of Dood mount, sniping a militiaman.
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Sawda site.
• In Bayda province:
The army launched a large-scale offensive on Qaida and ISIS militiamen’s sites, killing and wounding dozens of them.
The army controlled a large areas of the strategic Naufan Mount and other sites in Qarashia.
• In Taiz province:
An offensive targeted militiamen’s sites in Hamir area of Magbanah district, camping the sites with different weapons, killing and wounding many of the militiamen.
The army repelled an infiltration attempt of militiamen in Salw district, killing, wounding dozens and escaping who remained.
• In Marib province:
Sniper unit of the army shot dead seven Saudi-backed militiamen in several areas of Serwah district.
