About 10,888 Palestinian students killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza

GAZA, 17 (YPA) – About 10,888 Palestinian students have been killed and more than 17,224 others injured as result of the Israeli aggression on the Strip Gaza since October 7.

The Gaza-based Ministry of Education said in a statement on Tuesday a number of students who martyred in the West Bank has reached since 113 students, and 548 others have been injured, with arresting 429.

At least 529 teachers and administrators have been martyred and 3,686 others injured in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, with arresting more than 129 in the West Bank, the ministry’s statement said.

The statement affirmed that 500 schools and universities have been since destroyed by the Israeli aggression in the Strip.

The 362 government schools, universities, university buildings, and 65 UNRWA schools have been since bombed and vandalized in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 124 of them being severely damaged and 62 being completely destroyed.

In addition, 69 schools and 5 universities in the West Bank have been stormed and vandalized, and 133 government schools used as shelters in the Strip.

At least 718,000 students in the Gaza Strip have been still deprived of attending their schools and universities since the beginning of the aggression, while most students suffer from psychological trauma and face difficult health conditions.
