OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The number of arrests in the West Bank, including Al-Quds city (Jerusalem), has increased since October 7, 2023, the start of the ongoing Israeli genocide war and the comprehensive aggression against the Gaza Strip.

A joint statement issued by the Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club on Thursday, in which they stated that the Israeli occupation forces arrested 40 Palestinians from the West Bank since yesterday evening, Wednesday, until today morning.

The statement mentioned that the arrests were concentrated in the Hebron and Tubas governorates, while the rest of the arrests were distributed across the majority of the West Bank governorates.

According to the statement, among these prisoners who were arrested today was a patient who was being treated in the hospital, in addition to former prisoners.
