SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The British capital, London, witnessed a protest demonstration against the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The participants denounced the failure of the Labour Party government to stop the aggression, and demanded a halt to arms exports to the Israeli occupation, expressing their condemnation of the international silence regarding what is happening in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.
The emergency stand of the organizations of the alliance with Palestine occurred in front of the Prime Minister’s Office in London, condemning the bombing of the refugee camp in Al-Mawasi, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of 100 Palestinians.
Protesters called on the British government to completely stop arms exports to the Israeli occupation, considering the Labour Party’s decision to suspend some arms licenses as a not enough step.
Protesters stressed that the suspension decision was a partial admission of Britain’s responsibility, but they called for more comprehensive measures, including a complete ban on all arms sales and support for international efforts to stop the firing in Gaza.
