UAE-backed STC factions abduct employees from 12 international transport offices in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions, conducted on Tuesday a widespread abduction campaign targeting employees from 12 international transport offices in Aden.

A collective complaint from the 12 international transport offices revealed that the “Security Belt” factions closed the doors of their offices in the Ship Roundabout area and took their employees to a prison in the Mansoura district, citing that they were imposing illegal fees.

The transport offices described the actions of the STC elements as provocative and unlawful.

They called on the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition  to protect the transport offices and ensure their rights.

The international transport offices in Aden expressed their dissatisfaction with the mass abductions of their employees and the closure of their offices by the STC factions.
