Abdul-Salam condemns US-UK strikes on Taiz girls’ school

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, condemned on Tuesday the heinous crime that the American-British aggression fighter jets done by launching two raids near a girls’ school in the Taiziyah district of Taiz province.

“Targeting civilians and educational facilities is a dangerous escalation that reflects the American and British frustration due to their failure to protect Israeli navigation in the Red Sea,” Abdul-Salam said in a post on X platform.

He stressed that Yemen is committed to the decision to support Gaza and will not back down from this principled and moral decision.

Earlier in the day, the American-British fighter jets waged strikes near a girls’ school in the Taiziyah district of Taiz province, which led to the martyrdom of two students and the injury of nine others.
