Hadramout tribes send armed reinforcements in response to UAE provocations

HADRAMOUT, 09 (YPA) – The so-called Hadramout Tribal Alliance sent large armed reinforcements to the west of the city of Mukalla, the provincial capital of Hadramout, eastern Yemen.

Local sources confirmed that the alliance had sent dozens of tribesmen to establish an armed barracks next to the Al-Hamra military checkpoint at the western gate of Mukalla.

The sources added that the tribal reinforcements to the Sharj Talib point in Mifa’a Hajar area, came after the leadership of the Emirati forces stationed at Al-Rayyan Airport brought military reinforcements from al-Amaliqa factions, whose militants come from Lahj and Dhalea provinces, to Mukalla.

Dozens of military vehicles belonging to the Emirati factions entered Mukalla city, as the Saudi-backed Hadramout Tribal Alliance moved to tighten the noose on the coastal districts that the UAE-funded Hadrami Elite being controlled.

Last Friday, the Alliance launched a camp for tribesmen in the Al-Ghuwaizi area at the northern entrance to Mukalla, in an effort to control the city at the behest of the leadership of the Saudi forces stationed in the city of Seiyun.
