WEST BANK, Aug. 25 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces arrested during the past two days at least 35 Palestinian citizens from the West Bank, including children, including two girls, one of whom was later released, as well as former prisoners.
The Prisoners’ Club and the Prisoners’ Affairs Authority said in a joint statement that the arrest operations were distributed across most of the governorates of the West Bank, accompanied by attacks against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes.
The statement indicated that the occupation forces have arrested more than 10,200 citizens from the West Bank areas, including Quds City, since the beginning of the ongoing war of genocide and comprehensive aggression against Gaza Strip.
These arrest campaigns constitute the most prominent systematic policies used by the occupation forces and they are also among the most prominent tools of the collective punishment to target citizens.
