Seven Lebanese civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug. 23 (YPA) – At least seven Lebanese individuals have been killed as a result of Israeli attacks on towns in southern Lebanon since the morning, Lebanese media sources reported on Friday evening

The country’s ministry of health had previously stated earlier today: “An Israeli airstrike on the town of Tayr Harfa in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, resulted in the martyrdom of three people, while an airstrike on the town of Ayta al-Jabal led to the martyrdom of two people, including a seven-year-old child.”

The Ministry added that two more individuals were subsequently killed – one in an Israeli raid on Aitaroun and another in an airstrike on Mays al-Jabal.
