Fires break out in northern occupied Palestine due to Hezbollah strikes

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Fires broke out in several Israeli settlements located in northern occupied Palestine over the past few hours due to continued rocket attacks by Hezbollah in Lebanon, according to a statement from the Israeli military.

The occupation army noted that at least 55 rockets were launched from Lebanon, and sirens were heard in several Israeli settlements in the Upper Galilee and the occupied Golan Heights.

“In response to the alarms activated in the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights, approximately 55 rockets were detected crossing from Lebanese territory,” the occupation military stated in a statement.

It continued, “Firefighting teams are currently working to extinguish the fires that erupted in several areas as a result of the rocket impacts.”
