GAZA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – The death toll among workers at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip has risen to 207 since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, according to what the agency announced on Monday.
This announcement came in conjunction with World Humanitarian Day, which falls on August 19 of each year.
UNRWA explained in a statement reached to the Palestinian Information Center that 207 UNRWA workers were martyred in Gaza since the start of the war, some of them while performing their duty.
It pointed out that the martyrs were from various specialties, including doctors, engineers, teachers, and others.
UNRWA concluded its statement by saying: “On World Humanitarian Day and every day, we remember them.”
