34 death cases of cholera epidemic in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 18 (YPA) – The health office in Taiz areas, which are under the control of the coalition in southern Yemen, announced on Sunday huge numbers of victims of the cholera epidemic since the beginning of this year.

Tayseer Al-Sama’i, the media official in the health office loyal to coalition government in Taiz governorate, said that 34 deaths had been recorded, and four thousand cases of the cholera epidemic since the beginning of this year.

Previously, Al-Sama’i revealed that there was a state of neglect hit Taiz governorate by the government affiliated with the coalition regarding finding necessary treatments for the cholera pandemic.

It should be noted that the areas of Yemen under the control of the coalition are suffering from economic collapse and lack of services, which doubled the effects of epidemics in those regions.
