Civil Defense Authority in Sanaa issues flood warning

SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – The Civil Defense Authority in Sanaa issued an urgent warning this evening, urging citizens to avoid being in or crossing flood channels and watercourse during rainfall.

In an urgent statement, the authority warned residents not to cross valleys and streams while they are flowing, as this poses a danger to life.

The Civil Defense Authority also noted that heavy rainfall is expected in the coming hours, according to forecasts from the National Meteorological Center and Early Warning.
