Gunmen injured in Shabwa clashes

SHABWA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – Three people were injured on Thursday in armed clashes in the Nisab district, west of the city of Ataq, the center of the oil-rich Shabwa province.

Sources familiar with the matter said clashes broke out between gunmen from the Al Shams and Al Aboud tribes in Al Karmoum area of Nisab district, following tribal disputes that left 3 gunmen injured, one of them seriously.

This comes as a continuation of the tribal conflicts fueled by the leadership loyal to the Emirates with money and weapons amidst an unprecedented security chaos in the various districts of the province.
