10 people injured in Israeli airstrike on Lebanon

BEIRTU, Aug. 14 (YPA) – About 10 people were injured on Wednesday, in a preliminary toll, as a result of Israeli strikes on the Tyre district in southern Lebanon, Lebanese Ministry of Health said.

According to the Public Health Emergency Operations Center, affirmed in a statement that three of the ten wounded were critically injured as a result of the Israeli enemy targeting the Abbasiya town junction in Tyre district.

The statement noted that the wounded were distributed to hospitals in the region to receive quick treatment.

Lebanese media sources reported the occupation’s strike targeted a motorcycle junction and two cars in the town of Abbasiyeh of the district, which led also to damage to some vehicles.

Earlier in the day, local sources announced that the Israeli warplanes launched an air strike targeting the Rab El Thalathine, coinciding with Israeli artillery shelling of the town of Rashaya al-Fakhar and the outskirts of the town of Houla.
