Palestinian minor dies of critical wounds from Israeli occupation fire in Al-Quds

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 14 (YPA) – A Palestinian teenager succumbed to serious wounds he sustained earlier tonight after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate Media Department said in a statement that Shadi Wisam Shehada, 17, was shot by the Israeli occupation in the town of Anata while he was working at his privately-owned car wash shop in the area.

Local sources said that the occupation snipers inside Pisgat Ze’ev colony, illegally built on citizens’ lands east of Jerusalem, opened fire at the young man, for allegedly throwing stones at the occupation soldiers from behind the separation wall, which led to his serious injury.

He was transferred to hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

The sources pointed out that the occupation forces obstructed the arrival of the injured person before his martyrdom at the Shufat refugee camp checkpoint.

Eyewitnesses reported that a sizable military force barged their way into the camp, while simultaneously firing barrages of tear gas and concussion bombs towards the residents properties, triggering confrontations.

The occupation forces also stormed the Jerusalem neighborhood of Wadi al-Joz and assaulted several Palestinians, sparking confrontations.
