BAGHDAD, Aug. 14 (YPA) -The Third International Al-Aqsa Call Conference has issued a final statement expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian people and its resistance in their struggle to liberate their land.
The statement highlighted that Imam Hussein’s (PBUH) revolution against tyranny and his martyrdom with his family and companions in the Battle of Karbala “remains a fundamental event in human history.”
It asserted that this event inspires free thought and motivates sincere action and sacrifice for achieving justice for all humanity, which is the demand for the Palestinian people.
It called on all participants to do their best efforts to stop the genocidal war conducted by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinians.
The statement furthermore called for e accountability of those responsible for these crimes through pursuing legal actions against them in international and local courts.
The statement considered any dealings with the Zionist entity, under any title or in any field, as a form of partnership in its brutal crimes, calling for boycotts of all forms of connection with this criminal entity.
The Gazan’s resilience and sacrifices have unified the world’s free people in confronting the occupation. This was evident in the demonstrations that took place in various countries and the notable protests by university students,” the statement read.
It stressed the necessity of taking the advantage of these pivotal positions to promote justice on a global scale, with a special focus on Palestine
The participants stressed the importance of continued support for the Palestinian people on all fronts, expressing their appreciation for the entities that have supported and continue to support this cause.
They urged all capable individuals to provide all forms of material and moral support, which is particularly important after the end of the aggression, including the needs for reconstruction and treatment of the wounded.
The conference expressed appreciation for the commendable position of the Iraqi people and government in support of Gaza during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, especially the principled stance of religious authorities of different sects.
