Al-Qassam Brigades target Israeli soldiers, military vehicles in Rafah

GAZA, Aug. 04 (YPA) – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, targeted Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

In a statement released on Saturday, Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that their fighters sniped a Zionist soldier with an Al-Ghoul Qassam rifle near the Eastern Cemetery, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Brigades targeted two Namer armored personnel carriers, two D9 military bulldozers, and a Merkava tank with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Zalata area east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

In another statement, Al-Qassam Brigades said that their fighters had engaged in fierce battles at point-blank range with enemy forces and vehicles attempting to advance towards the Zalatah area east of city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
