STC elements kidnaps demonstrators in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 03 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s elements kidnapped a number of demonstrators in the city of Aden, south of Yemen, and took them to its secret detention centers in the city.

Human rights sources in the city said the STC launched a kidnapping campaign that targeted a number of participants in the so-called Ashal Million-Man March, before they arrived at the parade square in Khor-Maksar area of Aden.

The sources affirmed that the campaign came after demonstrators were exposed to gunfire in different areas, amid reports of injuries.
