Damascus denies imposing fees on Lebanese citizens entering Syrian territory

BEIRUT, Aug. 02 (YPA) – The Syrian Embassy in Beirut denied the false news circulated on some media sites on imposing fees by the authorities on the entrance of Lebanese citizens to Syria, the state official news agency SANA reported.

According to SANA, the embassy stressed in a statement on its Facebook page that” such news is categorically incorrect, as no amendments has been made in this regard.”

Any decision concerning this will be posted only on the official Syrian sites, including the embassy’s one, it added.
