Ghalibaf: It is our Duty to respond to the assassination of Haniyeh

THERAN, Aug. 01 (YPA) -In response to the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said that it is Iran’s duty to respond to this crime at the appropriate time and place.

In a speech delivered today, Thursday, during the funeral ceremony for the martyr Haniyeh, Ghalibaf added that, during Haniyeh’s visit to Iran two or three months ago, he spoke with him about the crimes of the murderous Zionist entity.

“Haniyeh mentioned that if you see the resistance in Gaza today and observe that more than two million people are steadfast and do not leave Gaza, the only reason for this is that these people have been nurtured and raised on the culture of the Quran and the School of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them),” he said.
