Military expert: The end of “Israel” lies in its committing this foolishness

SANAA, July 30 (YPA) – Retired Military Major General Mamoun Abu Nawar has said that the Zionist entity and its government are in a state of anxiety and fear of entering into a comprehensive war in Lebanon.

Abu Nawar indicated that the military fronts that help and support Lebanon are causing panic for “Israel” at the idea of starting a complete confrontation.

“America, Israel’s official supporter, will not be able to stand with Israel in an all-out war in Lebanon because of its need for allies in the region,” he explained.

He stated that the United States of America needs to bring aircraft carriers into the Middle East region to support “Israel,” which is impossible to implement due to the Houthis’ closure of the Bab al-Mandab Strait in front of these carriers, and the Iranians also closed the Strait of Hormuz in front of them. “America also needs the presence of 500,000 soldiers in the region to carry out any military action, which is not possible in light of the changes in the region.”

Abu Nawar pointed out that the United States’ resorting to confrontation using its military bases in the region would lead to Iran’s immediate intervention and attacking those military bases with all its might to protect its only arm in the region, “Hezbollah,” and forcing the United States to step down and stop standing by Israel in this particular confrontation.
