Belgian police arrest pro-Palestine protesters

WORLD, July 27 (YPA) – The Belgian police arrested a group of protesters raising the Palestinian flag in the capital, Brussels, during an event called “Tomorrowland.”

In recent months, European countries have witnessed large and frequent protests condemning the war waged by the Israeli occupation army on Gaza.

The protesters’ demands focus on calling on politicians in their countries, as well as universities and companies, to withdraw investments they hold in Israeli companies and institutions that benefit from the war waged by Israel against the Palestinians.
