OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 25 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 22 Palestinian civilians from the West Bank, including a journalist, a child, and former prisoners, last night and early this morning.
The Palestinian Commission for Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs and the Prisoners’ Club, stated in a joint press release that the arrests focused on the governorates of Ramallah and Hebron, with additional arrests in Tulkarm and Jerusalem.
The arrests were accompanied by assaults and threats against the detainees and their families, along with the destruction and vandalism of citizens’ homes.
They indicated that the total number of arrests has exceeded 9,800 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
These arrests include individuals taken from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and hostages.
