Central Bank of Yemen issues circular regarding foreign currencies
SANAA, July 22 (YPA) – The Central Bank of Yemen in Sanaa published on Monday a circular containing the upper limit on the selling prices of major currencies approved by the Foreign Exchange Unit.
In a post on the “X,” the bank set the price of the Saudi riyal against the Yemeni riyal at 140 riyals and the price of the US dollar against the Yemeni riyal at 530.50 riyals.
It also set the sale of the US dollar against the Saudi riyal at 3.79 Saudi riyals, pointing out that if the approved prices change during the period, the new prices will be published at the time of their approval by the Foreign Exchange Unit.
The bank called on citizens to report any violation or complaint by calling the toll-free number (8006800) or the number (01274327).
