Iraq condemns Israeli attack on Yemen’s hodeida port
BAGHDAD, July 22 (YPA) – Baghdad has expressed the Republic of Iraq’s condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli aggression against the Republic of Yemen.
According to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq stated in a statement that it “expresses the Republic of Iraq’s condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli aggression against the sister Republic of Yemen, which targeted oil and civilian facilities, including the Hodeida port and the electricity company, resulting in civilian casualties.”
The ministry deemed “this attack as a serious escalation that threatens stability in the region,” affirming “its full solidarity with the Yemeni people and holding the Israeli entity responsible for any military escalation in the region.”
On Saturday, the Israeli enemy launched an airstrike on Hodeida Governorate, targeting the port, fuel tanks, and power station, which led to the martyrdom of 6 people and injury of 87 others.
