Israeli official describes Yemen’s targeting of “Tel Aviv” as “October 7 of air defense”

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 20 (YPA) – A senior official in the Israeli occupation army described the Yemeni operation that targeted Tel Aviv Friday as “October 7 for Israeli air defense,” according to what was reported by the Israeli economic “Calcalist.”

The official said that Yemen’s success in launching the explosive drone to central Tel Aviv is “a resounding failure of the air defense system, which represents the end of the era of “clean skies” about which “Israel” has been bragging about for several years.

He reviewed a combination of several circumstances and failures that could explain the drone’s penetration of Israeli airspace without any prior attempt to intercept it. The first is “the existence of a critical gap in concrete intelligence information about such a drone, which traveled a distance of about 2,000 kilometers without being detected.”

This comes after the Yemeni “Jaffa” plane arrived in “Tel Aviv” yesterday and exploded in a building close to the American consulate in the region.
