ADEN, July 9 (YPA) – Foreign currency prices in Aden and the rest of the southern provinces controlled by the Saudi-led coalition rose dramatically against the local currency on Tuesday, owing to a disastrous economic policy that has led to real famine.
Exchange companies recorded the selling price of the US dollar at 1,905 Yemeni riyals, while the Saudi riyal reached 500 Yemeni riyals.
The collapse of the local currency against foreign currencies was reflected in the prices of basic food commodities, which are witnessing daily increases.
