Several Yemeni areas expected to get rained over coming hours

SANAA, July 06 (YPA) – The Scattered showers will be expected to prevail over a number the Yemeni provinces in the coming 24 hours, according to the National Center for Meteorology.

Meteorology affirmed in its weather forecast, the rains may fall on parts of the governorates of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, Bayda, Lahj, Dhalea, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Rayma and Sanaa, in addition to Amran, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, and areas of the Tihama Plain.

The center indicated that the weather would be warm in deserts, plains, and coastal areas, with maximum temperatures ranging between 38-46 degrees Celsius.

It added: Strong winds will blow on the Socotra Archipelago, reaching speeds of up to 45 knots, and moderate to strong winds on the eastern and southern coasts, which will disturb the sea and cause waves to rise.
