Abdulsalam: Russia shows understanding for Red Sea operations in support of Gaza

SANAA, July 06 (YPA) -The head of the national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, confirmed that the Russia’s position on Yemen’s operations in the Red Sea in support of Gaza is one of understanding.

Abdulsalam said in an interview with the Russian media channel RT: “We received an official invitation from the Russian Foreign Ministry to visit Russia, and we arrived and discussed several issues with the Russian leadership, and there is a clear Russian understanding of Yemen’s operations in the Red Sea in support of Gaza.”

He added: “Most European countries are coordinating with us, in light of Yemen’s operations in the Red Sea in support of Gaza.”

He Stressed, “The American knows that weapons are locally manufactured in Yemen,” noting that “attempts to cast doubt on and weaken the Yemeni position are a service to the Israeli project.”

“Military technical information of the Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed that the Americans spoke of an injury to the US aircraft carrier Eisenhower, without clarifying the level and extent of the injury. The Yemeni naval forces, missiles, and air defences are much stronger today than they were before October 7, as a result of the great benefit from the battle and continuous development,” Mohammed Abdulsalam continued.

He pointed out that “there is great coordination with Sana’a by other countries, some of which request protection for their ships, and make it clear that they will not go to the Zionist entity.”

Abdulsalam stressed “the readiness to enter into an all-for-all [prisoner] exchange deal without exception,” revealing that “Sanaa has Saudi, Sudanese and Yemeni prisoners.”
