Israel calls for reoccupation of Sinai Peninsula

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 04 (YPA) -The so-called extremist right-wing Zionist Heritage Minister, Ayelet Shaked, has once again sparked controversy regarding the occupation of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.

The extremist reshared a post promoting the sale of goods advocating the occupation of the Sinai Peninsula.

The post urges buying a shirt printed with what is supposed to be a map of Israel, including the West Bank, Gaza, and Sinai, with the slogan “Occupation Now” on it.

Ayelet wrote in the post: “Have you seen this beautiful shirt?? I just ordered it for the whole family!… This is how awareness is created.”

She added: “Go to the link and get shirts, magnets, posters, take them on trips, give them to all the children to wear, and soon there will be sizes for young children… Put it on your car, let’s raise awareness.”

She continued: “The people demand occupation! Occupation now.”

The extremist concluded her post with a link to a website selling merchandise bearing the slogan “Occupation Now,” calling for expanding Zionist sovereignty in Sinai, southern Lebanon, and ultimately Jordan, as reported by “Times of Israel.”

In November 2023, the extremist Ayelet, who belongs to the far-right “Jewish Power” party led by Itamar Ben Gvir, made a controversial statement during a radio interview, suggesting that “dropping a nuclear bomb on Gaza is a viable option.
