HODEIDAH, July 15 (YPA)- A military commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition forces was killed with several others of the coalition militias by the army fire in the western coast front, local sources told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
The source confirmed that the commander of the fourth battalion loyal to Gen.Tariq Afash, Colonel Rashad Saleh al-Masri was killed with three of his escorts when the Yemeni army foiled UAE-backed militias’ infiltration towards Haiys district in Yemen’s Red Sea Port city of Hodeida.
The Yemeni army destroyed two armored cars and two military vehicles belonging to the militias, killing all their crew members, the official added.
Al-Masari was working as director of the 45 police station in Sanaa before he joined to the UAE-backed forces lead by Tariq Afash.
