Al-Qassam Brigades announces targeting of Israeli engineering vehicle

GAZA, June 23 (YPA) – The Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Sunday the destruction of an Israeli “Ofek Carpet” engineering vehicle with a guided missile west of the Tal Zorob area in Rafah, and it caught fire.

The brigades also mentioned that they, along with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military arm of the Islamic Jihad movement, bombed Israeli troops and vehicles penetrating the Yabna camp in the center of Rafah with mortar shells.

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces destroyed hundreds of homes in western and central Rafah.

According to local sources, eight Palestinians were killed as a result of a house being targeted in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Civil Defense said, in a statement, that its crews recovered three martyrs and several wounded as a result of Israeli aircraft targeting a house belonging to the Ja’rour family in the vicinity of the Dabit area in central Gaza City.

Two Palestinians were also martyred as a result of being targeted by an Israeli drone near the power station north of the Nuseirat camp.
