GAZA, June 15 (YPA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Saturday that more than 50,000 children in the Gaza Strip are in urgent need of treatment for acute malnutrition.
In a statement released on its X account, UNRWA stated that the people of Gaza are facing “desperate levels of hunger” as restrictions on aid persist. The agency emphasized that its teams are working tirelessly to deliver aid to families, but described the situation as “catastrophic.”
