Two people injured in tribal clashes in Shabwa

SHABWA, June 15 (YPA) – At least two people were injured in tribal clashes in Shabwa Governorate, which is under the control of Saudi-led coalition.

Local sources reported that clashes erupted between the Humam tribe and the Ma’abasah tribe on the outskirts of Ataq city.

Various types of light and medium weapons were used in the clashes , resulting in two people being seriously injured.

The sources confirmed that security forces in the governorate did not intervene to break up the clashes, amid accusations that coalition forces are exacerbating tribal conflicts in the oil-rich governorate.
