Al-Sabiha tribes mobilize for armed confrontation with STC forces at entrance to Aden

LAHJ, June 10 (YPA) – The Ras Amran area, northwest of the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition, is witnessing armed tensions for the second week in a row between the UAE-backed factions, reinforced by tribal militants from the people of Al-Subaiha in Lahj province.

Local sources said on Monday that the forces reinforced with UAE military vehicles and armored vehicles, which the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) sent from Aden last week, are trying to tighten the noose on the “Ninth Brigade Saiqa” camp in the Ras Omran area of the Buraiqa area in Aden.

The sources explained that the sheikhs of the Al-Ka’lala tribe, to which Farouk Al-Ka’luli belongs, appealed to the people of Al-Sabiha tribes in Al-Madariba, Ras Al-Ara, and Tor Al-Baha to quickly move to Ras Omran to put an end to the actions that the STC president, Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, is trying to impose on the people of Al-Sabiha for regional motives.
