Yemeni riyal records new low against foreign currencies in southern provinces

SANAA, May 29 (YPA) – The exchange rate of the US dollar in the banks of the city of Aden and the southern and eastern Yemeni provinces recorded on Wednesday 1,750 riyals, while the Saudi riyal exceeded the barrier of 460 riyals, banking sources said.

The sources confirmed that exchange rates of foreign currencies in Sanaa and the provinces controlled by the Supreme Political Council remained stable and were not affected by any developments, explaining that the price of the dollar is stable at 530 riyals and the Saudi riyal at 139.70 riyals.
