Israeli occupation forces withdraw from Jenin

WEST BANK, May 23 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces withdrew Thursday morning from the city of Jenin and its camp in the northern West Bank after a massive military operation that lasted two days and resulted in 12 martyrs and major destruction of infrastructure.

The death toll rose this morning to 12 martyrs, including four students, a teacher, and a doctor, after a young man died from wounds he sustained during the Israeli aggression.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 25 others were injured by occupation forces fire.

The occupation forces had stormed the city of Jenin and its camp, and sent in more than two thousand of its soldiers.
