SANAA, May 23 (YPA) – German police forces suppressed a student demonstration in support of Palestine in the capital, Berlin, and arrested many of the students participating in it.
The students organized a demonstration in front of the building of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Humboldt University in Berlin, and hung a banner on the building reading “Free Palestine”, and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian people and against Zionist aggression.
The Zionist police intervened to disperse the student demonstrators, arresting many of them and then allowing a demonstration to be held 100 meters from the college building.
For its part, the university administration demanded that the students leave the building without demands.
