Yemen declares its support for Iranian people in these difficult conditions

SANAA, May 19 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat , declared on Sunday that the Yemeni leadership and people stand with the Iranian people and its leadership in the difficult circumstances Iran is experiencing.

“We are following with great concern the incident that struck the plane carrying President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, and a number of Iranian officials,” Al-Mashat said in a statement.

In addition, the Sanaa-based Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in a statement its deep concern about the plane accident carrying the Iranian President, Ibrahim Raisi, and his companions.

The statement said that the leadership and people of the Republic of Yemen stands with Iran in this difficult, various condition and in circumstances, wishing for the safety of the Iranian President and his companions.
