SANAA, May 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate continued on Sunday to collapse significantly against the foreign currencies in Aden province and other southern and eastern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.
Banking sources reported that the exchange rate of the US dollar in the banks of the city of Aden and the southern and eastern Yemeni provinces rose to 1,731 riyals, and the Saudi riyal exceeded the barrier of 455 Yemeni riyals.
According to the sources, the price of the dollar in Sanaa and the provinces under the control of the Supreme Political Council was not affected by any developments, maintaining its purchase price at 530 riyals and the Saudi riyal at 139.70 riyals.
