ADEN, May 17 (YPA) – Aden city, south of Yemen is currently witnessing angry popular protests, against the backdrop of the deterioration of electricity service for days.
In protest rally, the angry citizens went out in the Al-Mamdara area of Sheikh Othman district and set fires and close roads in protest against the power outage and their increasing suffering due to the scorching summer heat.
The increasing power outage in Aden comes in light of the coalition-backed Aden government’s inability to confront the collapse that has befallen power generation stations for several years and its failure to provide fuel.
