Haniyeh: Palestinian people have thwarted all malicious plans that aim to end Palestinian issue

ANKARA, May 16 (YPA) – The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, confirmed on Wednesday that the Palestinian people have thwarted all malicious plans that aim to end the Palestinian issue.

The head of the Hamas political bureau said that the heroes of the resistance affirm that the end of the occupation is “a Qur’anic inevitability and a historical fact.”

“The whole world saw the truth about the criminal Zionist enemy with a criminal history,” Haniyeh added, noting that the resistance factions are still inflicting losses on the enemy after months of war.

On the proposed ceasefire, Haniyeh affirmed that the movement responded positively to negotiating a ceasefire.

He pointed out that “the occupation responded to our approval of the ceasefire proposal by entering Rafah and the northern regions.”

Haniyeh confirmed that the movement would continue to seek a ceasefire in every possible way. “Every agreement that fulfills the demands of our people is something we strive for with all force.”

He said that the occupation’s amendments to the latest proposal put the negotiations at a dead end.

The head of the Hamas political bureau also said: “The enemy’s insistence on moving forward with the Rafah process puts the entire negotiations in an unknown fate, and we agree with our brothers in Egypt on the necessity of the Zionist enemy’s withdrawal from the Rafah crossing and all areas of the Gaza Strip.”

He stated, “The American position continues to side with the enemy and continues to provide political support and cover for the war of genocide against our people.”
