GAZA, May 15 (YPA) – At least 10 Palestinians were killed as a result of an Israeli bombing of a medical clinic in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, north of the Strip, Palestinian TV said on Wednesday morning.
“Al-Aqsa” TV channel stated that the clinic is affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
Also in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation forces withdrew today from the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza after “fierce” battles with armed factions that continued for several days.
The Israeli occupation forces invaded the neighborhood about a week ago, amid intense air strikes that led to many deaths.
Violent clashes also took place between the Palestinian factions and Israeli forces in Jabalia camp, where the Israeli forces have been carrying out a large military operation for several days.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced in a statement today that it had engaged in violent clashes with Israeli troops near the Jabalia camp, leaving a number of them dead or wounded.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, said yesterday (Tuesday) that they had killed seven Israeli soldiers east of the Jabalia camp.
