GAZA, MAY 09 (YPA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Thursday that Israel forcibly displaced about 80,000 Palestinians from the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip within 3 days.
The agency said, via the “X” platform, that the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip face another forced displacement, as part of the ongoing Israeli war for the seventh month.
It explained that since the intensification of the military operation by the Israeli forces on May 6, ,about 80,000 people have fled Rafah, seeking refuge in other places.
UNRWA also stressed that the losses suffered by these families are unbearable, and there is no safe place, and renewed the call for an immediate ceasefire.
