Civilians martyred in Israeli strikes on Lebanon

BEIRUT, May 05 (YPA) – Four Lebanese, including a child, were martyred nd others wounded on Sunday in Israeli air strikes targeting areas of Lebanon.

According to Lebanon’s reporter, the strikes hit the town of Mays al-Jabal in southern of Lebanon.

The correspondent spoke about the details of the Israeli raid hit the civilians while they were inspecting their homes and shops into the town of Mays al-Jabal in the central sector, causing also massive destruction of the property.

On the other hand, Hezbollah said in a statement that it had targeted the Qiryat Shemona settlement adjacent to the Lebanese border with a barrage of missiles.

The statement affirmed that the rocket attack came “in response to the horrific crime that the Israeli enemy committed in the town of Mays al-Jabal and the number of martyrs and wounded civilians.”
