Sweden: Woman and man burn a copy of Quran and Palestinian flag

WORLD, May 05 (YPA)- A woman and a man carrying the Israeli flag burned a copy of the Quran and the Palestinian flag in the city of Malmo, southern Sweden, which hosts the Eurovision Song Contest.

A video widely circulated on social media showed the moments when a woman carrying a cross and another holding the flag of the Israeli occupation set fire to a copy of the Quran, amid police protection.

Last summer, Sweden faced severe criticism from Islamic and Arab countries, as well as public outrage, due to the repeated incident of burning copies of the Quran by an Iraqi refugee named under police protection.
