Foreign currency exchange rates witness fluctuations in southern provinces

SANAA, May 03 (YPA) – The city of Aden and the southern and eastern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition have witnessed fluctuations in foreign currency exchange rates against the riyal between rises and declines since the beginning of this week.

Banking sources reported on Friday that the exchange rate of the dollar in Aden and the southern and eastern provinces recorded 1,689 riyals, while the price of the Saudi riyal reached 444.5 Yemeni riyals, a slight decrease from yesterday’s prices, amounting to 13 riyals to the dollar and 3 riyals to the Saudi dollar.

The sources indicated that the dollar exchange rate in Sanaa and the provinces under the control of the Supreme Political Council remained stable at 532 riyals and 140 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
